Walker,Texas Ranger

We had another great week with Walker. Hiking, shooting animals ( sorry neighborhood squirrel), lighting fires, exploding cans with the BB gun, river monsters and pop tarts - what a fun Christmas we had with him!

Cheers!

My first Christmas present of the season - Cheerwine. Sweet goodness straight from North Carolina. It is hard to describe the taste but it is one good soda!

Thanks Tanner!

Rangers Country Christmas

This year(and last) the Rangers held their holiday party in Cowtown. Yee haw! We put on our boots and jeans - when I say we, I mean Kelly- and headed to Fort Worth. The first part of the evening was Four Day Weekend. The rangers rented it out which made it even better. Lots and lots of laughter! Then we had dinner at the Reatta. So delicious! We sat with Ashley and Joel. If you didn't know, they are a couple! It was a fun double date night with them. So happy Joel asked her to come. She is pretty much a Rangers employee anyways!

Shag-a-licious

No way would we put 70s shag in our house but we did pick some pretty soft, cool carpet. It got installed today! That means we are only 2.5 weeks behind schedule but who is counting? Let them take their time and do it right!

In the meantime, maybe our house in Arlington will sell!
Will this ever be done?

Gentlemen start your lawn mowers!

Kelly and I finally decided on our plants, grass and trees for the new house. After some research, we decided to plant native Texas plants in the flower bed and magnolias for trees. The key was that these are all hardy, enjoy the Texas heat and low maintenance - sounds perfect to me! We covered the ground with crushed granite instead of mulch and love it.

Getting so close!
Our sweet little juniper

splish splash

I was taking a bath....soon! Our Cooper tub just came in from Mexico. Ole! We had to drive out to Canton to pick it up but it was worth it. We had it custom fired and it came out so cool.

( forgive the order of pics. Totally backwards)

While this may look tiny, it isn't!
Traveling back from Canton
This thing was crated in from Mexico. Ole!
