Fear the beard

Reason #1 that I am ready for baseball season to start:

Kelly will shave off his Grizzly Adams beard that he has been rocking this offseason.

So long, farewell...

No need to say goodbye!

We have started the moving process. Finally! Our past week has consisted of late nights, long drives and towing a trailer. We plan on hiring a moving company for the big stuff but we are moving everything else ourselves - with some help from our awesome family! Kasey and Whitney along with Aydia and Elijah spent almost a whole day with us moving. Thank goodness bc our dining room table is heavy! We are so blessed to have them.

Our backs hurt and our feet are aching but we are so excited to move. We are definitely ready for an offseason that does not involve anything house related!

Build it and they will come

Kelly and I spent the past two nights building manly things for the new garage. After 12 hours, 200 pieces and 450 screws scattered all over the garage, we finally had the lockers, lighted work station, shelves, rolling work bench in place. The finished product looks pretty good if I do say so myself!

Walker,Texas Ranger

We had another great week with Walker. Hiking, shooting animals ( sorry neighborhood squirrel), lighting fires, exploding cans with the BB gun, river monsters and pop tarts - what a fun Christmas we had with him!

Cheers!

My first Christmas present of the season - Cheerwine. Sweet goodness straight from North Carolina. It is hard to describe the taste but it is one good soda!

Thanks Tanner!

Rangers Country Christmas

This year(and last) the Rangers held their holiday party in Cowtown. Yee haw! We put on our boots and jeans - when I say we, I mean Kelly- and headed to Fort Worth. The first part of the evening was Four Day Weekend. The rangers rented it out which made it even better. Lots and lots of laughter! Then we had dinner at the Reatta. So delicious! We sat with Ashley and Joel. If you didn't know, they are a couple! It was a fun double date night with them. So happy Joel asked her to come. She is pretty much a Rangers employee anyways!
